Look Fantastic Review // December 2016

Opening

With a great sense of excitement and anticipation I love receiving subscription boxes through the post. You never know what you are going to receive, apart from the monthly issue of Elle magazine which comes along with each box as an added bonus. Watch me open my first ever Look Fantastic box in the video at the bottom of this post, yet have a read of this post for a look in the latest Christmas box. I was astounded at some of the products in this months box as they are a great size and worth so much more than the box.

Illamasqua

I am already a fan of Illamasqua’s big range of eye shadows but didn’t realise they had products like this Hydra Veil. The packaging is lovely and very tactile. Not quite the full size that you can buy in the shops, yet a great full sample size to try out. This product is meant to be massaged all over your face to create an even complexion below your foundation.

Mellow Lipstick

I love this lipstick. I had never heard of Mellow before and I have struggled to find a UK stockist…do you know of one? Here is a link to the US online company. This lipstick is lovely and creamy and unlike a lot of lipsticks, it doesn’t dry out your lips at all.

CoQ10 + Caviar
I am yet to try this out because it is a sachet and I needed to photograph it before opening it. I personally prefer samples or products to come in a package that you can open and close and use more than once. Yet, this being said, this product is actually full sized and what you would normally get in the shops and is super cool concept once you realise what it is. The product is actually a face mask in the form of sheet which is infused with a serum and you place on your face.

Balance Me Face Wash
This face wash smells incredible and is full of natural ingredients with no awful parabens or petroleum or anything icky in it. Perfect make up remover for anyone with sensitive skin.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer
You can use this Philip Kingsley pre shampoo treatment in the shower when you are washing your hair. The liquid formulation is highly concentrated and great for any hair which has seen better days.
