Nothing quite says British summer than rain the start of the flower show season. I feel ever so high brow donning a floral dress and tottering around in espadrilles whilst browsing the latest flower trends or simply browsing in Chelsea’s Peter Jones. If you were lucky enough to have pottered around Chelsea Flower show last week then you may well have spotted and had the privilege of having tea at the Wedgwood X John Lewis tea room. If you didn’t have a chance then don’t worry because Peter Jones in Sloane Square has its own pop up tea conservatory open until 16th June.
I was very kindly invited to the opening of the launch night of the Wedgwood tea conservatory and brought along my mum and auntie. We had such a lovely time learning about everything you can possibly know about tea. We drank lots of tea, tea infused cocktails (non-alcoholic and alcoholic), drank Prosecco from the most gorgeous delicate Wedgwood glasses and were taught how to arrange flowers by the Jane Packer team (Jane Packer have a flower shop within the John Lewis, Oxford Street store). The tea conservatory is situated in the centre of the Peter Jones Chelsea store but it feels like you are in the perfect little bubble protecting you from the outside world. Decked out in rich blue velvet seats and table settings fit for a Queen you will never want to leave. The tableware displays Wedgwoods latest range, Wonderlust. It makes for the perfect present.

I am drinking Wedgwood’s new Rococo Flowers White Tea from their Rococo Flowers fine china mug as I read this blog post – truly! How funny is that? It is absolutely delicious and made more so by the beautifully delicate mug. A magic moment 🙂
