PLANNING YOUR BLOG POSTS

We are definitely racing through January at high speed…but not to worry it’s 31 days long!!! By the time the 31st hits it will feel like January was an eternity long. Every year my parent’s friend kindly gives me a diary which you can see how it helps me organise my blog over here. I have always been a pen and paper girl. I love writing lists, I love to visualise my day, week, month and even year. This year I have made my own blog planners. My dad was quick to tell me I could easily have downloaded very similar month planners after I spent a few hours making them…haha. Oh well, these ones have lots more lines to jot notes down on and have the same font I used in my ebook.

ONE BIG TOP TIP

Once you have downloaded your planner, go through the year ahead and write in Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, Valentine’s etc. If you are fitness blogger, put in important sporting events. If you are a food blogger pop in the dates of food program launches, food events and holidays that are centred around food etc. The reason behind all of this is for you to know in advance the dates to start creating content, calling in products and taking photos. I started doing this two years ago and it mean that I didn’t miss out on content which would work well for my audience and for the general SEO of my site. It also prevents me from getting stressed and leaving important posts till the last minute.

I hope my planners help you out. Let me know if you use them.
