HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE WRAPPING PAPER

I feel like this year has been a real eye opener for everyone in relation to plastic. It is tricky to completely change our habits I know, yet there are small things which we can all do. Such as, bringing a reusable bottle with you everywhere you go. This was the first step I took. In fact, I had to buy a bottle of water from a local shop when I was in London recently and I felt a real sense of shame. There was no way that I couldn’t have bought it and I did try and find a glass bottle instead but I needed that water asap before an audition. I feel like the next step is for this Christmas to make my own wrapping paper. I probably have some old wrapping paper from past years left and will make sure I use that but for the other presents I am using brown paper and decorating it and I am super excited. Here are some adorable ways to wrap your presents without using shop bought plastic coated wrapping paper.

WHAT YOU NEED

• A roll of brown paper
• Ink pads
• Stamps
• Pom-poms
• Biodegradable glitter
• PVA glue

IDEAS

If you need a little decorating inspiration then click on through to here to my Pinterest board. I have pinned dozens of personalised hand made wrapping ideas for you to enjoy. There are so many that I want to recreate. I decided to use some old white pom-poms, some biodegradable glitter that is actually meant for your face and my white ink with a stag head stamp.

Will you be making your own wrapping paper this year? Let me see pictures if you do so x
