AUTUMN/WINTER ACTIVEWEAR I AM LOVING RIGHT NOW

  1. Activewear is totally acceptable to be be seen in right now and I kinda love it. More and more brands are making stunning luxury designer activewear and I have been wearing two different brands lately which has changed my whole outlook. I spend a lot of time at bootcamp, which is another word for rolling yourself about in the mud. I love bootcamping but I tend to buy my clothes for bootcamp in cheap sports shops like Sports Direct. I have been feeling super daggy in my sports kit lately, everything is mud and grass stained, ripped at the cuffs and tinged with a dank smell…sexy huh? Well, things are slowly changing and I am adding more lush items to my kit, which in turn makes me feel a whole lot better about myself.

UNDER ARMOUR X MISTY COPELAND

This collection is part of the Misty Copeland (ballerina) and Under Armour collaboration so style and flexibility are key aspects of the garments. Iam not one to wear a teeny crop top and leggings but this outfit is the perfect alternative. You can have you midriff on show but the leggings are high waisted and the top isn’t actually that short so you feel quite covered up and only showing the slimmest part of your tummy. I won’t be wearing the top half as much as the leggings but even after only them for a month I have worn them non stop. The fabric is elasticated and sucks your legs in the perfect amount. The fabric is quite thick so perfect for the imminent wintery weather.

MONREAL

Monreal, as seen recently on Kate Middleton is new to me and I am already in love. The fabric is the right amount elasticated and super soft to touch I love the waist band, which is really elegant, check them out here as I didn’t photograph that part. The biggest draw to me with these leggings is the incredible reflective patches dotted around in a aesthetically pleasing way. I am a keen runner and after work I will have to run at dusk. I tried the kit out at dusk last week and the reflective patches worked incredibly well making me feel a lot safer running along the street.

What do you think? Would you spend a little bit more on your activewear to feel better about yourself?

Cure Your Chapped Lips

Growing up, I was never one to have chapped lips.
Then Adult acne struck and after a bout of Roaccutane I suffered a bit of cracking chapped lips in the blistery cold weather.
I quickly found my remedy which I hope can cure your chapped lips too.
My solution is very simple. You just need an old toothbrush and an organic lip balm.

I could write you an essay on why I only use organic lip balms but I don’t want to bore you.
All I am going to say on the subject is, would you eat petrol? No! So don’t put it on your lips silly billy.
Stop buying lip products full of petroleum and petrochemicals…yuck.

I only ever use Balm Balm lip balm.
Their products are 100% organic, 100% natural and are so perfect that you can even put them on a newborn baby and eat them if you are that way inclined.

If you ever feel like you are suffering from chapped lips get an old toothbrush, run it under water and gently rub it over your lips in a circular motion.
Do this before bedtime, then apply a thick layer of Balm Balm before going to sleep.
You will wake up with much softer lips.
Depending on how chapped your lips are you can repeat this every other night.

Hope this works for you x

End of summer [outfit of the day]

Another fabulous summer is coming to a close. Rather than being sad lets concentrate on how amazing autumn fashion is. I love the feeling of being warm enough to wear a simple tee with a mac and booties. Come winter you will find me hiding under a Liam Gallagher inspired coat, hiding from the blistering cold and looking far from fetch, so let us dress to impress whilst the weather permits.
This is my favourite transitional outfit that I have compiled.

Check out my latest YouTube Look Book video of this look at the bottom of this blog post.
