I am very new to body scrubs, yet I am now an absolute addict. I can’t believe how late to the scene I am with sugar and salt exfoliating scrubs. There are so many benefits to using a scrub, both for beauty and health reasons. Always use it before shaving, rather than after, especially if you are using a more corse scrub to prevent any damage to your skin. I have selected my favourites, which range from the affordable to the more luxury.

THE LUXURY SCRUB
The Ren Exfoliating Body Balm is probably the most luxurious of all of my body scrub picks. What is quite lovely about this product is it adds another step to your beauty routine for a perfect pamper evening. You can rub this body balm all over your body before laying in the bath. Then, once you lay in the bath it will melt into your water. The salt particles are not too dense and a huge part of this tub of product is balm, making it incredibly soothing and smooths the skin delicately. There is a light menthol scent to this tub which I adore. This scrub is currently on sale so if you do want, rush on over and treat yourself to this large tub of luxury.
THE FACE SCRUB
I was sent this Super Facialist Face Scrub last year and have had it in my shower ever since. Until recently I only used it a few times. I am now an addict. This is my only face scrub and use it far less often than the body scrubs. Ever since suffering with acne I am incredibly weary of any sort of exfoliating on my face. This product is nice and gentle and leaves you feeling as softer and great for scrubbing away any dry skin around the nose. This product is filled with elderflower to minimise the appearance of pores and Grapeseed oil to help your skin retain a moisture balance.
THE EVERYDAY SCRUB
The Kind Natured Foaming Sugar Scrub is the only sugar scrub I have here and am really enjoying it. The texture of this product is quite corse but dissolves in seconds. I find that this means I want to use a lot more but probably don’t need to. The scent is lovely and very summery. A huge bonus for me with this product that it prides itself in being vegan and vegetarian and not tested on animals.
THE DELICATE SCRUB
I had this Clarins Exfoliating Body Scrub in a goodie bag from Boots last year when I bought a couple of Clarins products. I love it when Clarins do that, yet they are normally small sample sized products, this is BIG, yet super light so I often take this one abroad with me. The hole which the product squeezes out of is super small and skinny aiding you to only use a little bit. It smells like a product you would have used on you in a spa, so lovely! Once I finish this I will definitely be buying more as I think it has done my skin wonders.
