Are you ever stuck for what to buy someone as a special present? Is it someones wedding, wedding anniversary, birthday, or are they just someone who has everything and you never know what to buy them? When my friend Charlotte who is an insanely talented artist said she was starting her own company with her artistic talent, my first thought was, about time too! A few years ago I saw some beautiful imagery of her illustrated birds and I immediately fell in love. Read on to find out about the lovely bespoke process that Charlotte has begun to provide. There is also a lovely code for 20% off which Charlotte has given me for all of my readers at the bottom of this page.

THE PROCESS
Charlotte will ask you to send her over as many photographs as possible from the wedding with the bouquet in shot. I sent over a few pictures, including the one above and she got straight to work. I know that Charlotte even went and bought the flowers from my bouquet so she could study them to perfection. Charlotte asked me along the way if there was anything I would like added, for example she asked me if I would like a little bit of greenery added to create some depth to my white gypsophila which I completely agree on but would never have thought to say, she knows her stuff. I love how personalised this gift is, hand made, bespoke, one of a kind and the perfect memory. Once your friend, family or yourself receives this gorgeous piece of art they will have it in their life forever to be reminded of their special day. I have loved reliving my special day throughout the whole process and loved having this unique memento. If you and a few of your friends wanted to group together to buy this present, Charlotte has lovely vouchers which you can give on your friends wedding day or as a present so they can go through the process of creating the illustration themselves.

THE FINISHED PIECE
The speediness of the whole process baffled me. Charlotte is a mummy of two and somehow sends you your illustration in record time…although, as she inevitably gets busier I am not sure what the lead time will be, so get in there quickly. You receive your illustration through the post, in the mounted frame as you can see in the image below. There is no need to worry about any damage to your art as Charlotte, having worked in luxury PR knows exactly how to deliver in style. Tracked post and hand made mounted corners on your artwork, you know you’re in good hands.
Make sure you use the code ‘megantaylor’ when ordering a wedding bouquet illustration. Make sure you head on over to Charlotte’s Instagram which is full of dreamy arty inspiration.
