SUMMER HOLIDAY BEAUTY MUST HAVES

I hope you all enjoyed last weeks post on Summer Prep Beauty Must Haves. I am back with a similar post but filled with summer holiday beauty must haves. I am so excited to be off for my yearly summer holiday next week. Here is a glimpse of the products and goodies which I am going to be using. I will of course create some extra content of what I take away with me when I get back so be sure to look out for that in a couple of weeks time.

SPRINKLING OF HAPPINESS

NAIL VARNISHES
These two nail varnishes from Nailberry and Leighton Denny are perfect for the summer sun whilst walking in the sun drenched sand. I am going to use the vibrant orange Nailberry polish on my tootsies and the pearl Leighton Denny colour on my fingers.
FLORAL STREET
I was sent this perfume a couple of months ago after being sent a list of lots of different scents. Each perfume had a description and ingredients list and I thought all of them sounded lovely. Then I read about London Poppy and I knew it was the one straight away. Filled with the scents of Sicilian lemon and Florida orange I knew I would love it and I was right. I always gravitate towards citrus scents, they are so fresh and immediate transport me to happy summer memories. You can also buy a taster pack which you can see in the images below. I have popped the mini London Poppy scent in my bag to spritz on at midday.
MARY KAY TIMEWISE
I have talked about this face SPF 30 in my Sun Tan Lotions blog and have been using it a whole lot ever since. Not just me, Liam has been using it too. It is very delicate and light on your skin which is great in the hotter months as you don’t want to feel claustrophobic from your lotion. Liam has also been wearing when working out and sweating and said that it doesn’t drip down your face which is amazing as a lot of sun tan lotions aren’t that great to work out with.

HAIR

TROPIC HAIR CLEANSER
This tropic hair cleanser is rich and concentrated but at the same time doesn’t feel heavy on the hair, so a little goes a long way. This product is perfect for sun damaged hair. I try my hardest to keep my face and hair out of the sun but this is obviously not always going to happen so I am going to use this product to replenish my hair.
REVLON EQUAVE
This product is going to live in my beach bag and Liam and I are both going to be using it everyday! I am determined to look after my hair this holiday and not allow it to go to straw. I am having my hair dyed, today in fact, and I don’t want to bleach to go bad so this product is going to be the perfect protection. It is also great at detangling which is needed after all the roly polys and handstands I do in the swimming pool…yes, I am five haha.

FLY AWAY WITH ME

SKYN HYDRO COOL FIRMING EYE GELS
I am always a little sceptical of sheet masks for anything to be honest. Yet, I tried these with an open mind and was surprised to find that I really loved them. Be sure to check out my first impressions and in-depth review of these eye gel patches over on my YouTube channel (and hit the subscribe button whilst you are there :)). I felt that they really did tighten the skin. They do say that they work intensively to help firm, de-puff and reduce the premature wrinkling and I believe them! I also love that they aren’t too wet and sticky like a lot of other brands’.

BODY

SCOTTISH FINE SOAPS BODY WASH
Fancy smelling like Summer? Use this body wash! Filled with the scent of coconuts and limes will are bound to feel refreshed and happier. I always like products from The Scottish Fine Soaps Company (as you can see here) so I knew I would like this before I even tried it. I find their products are exactly how you would expect them to be.
TROPIC SUN BALM
I mentioned this set sun tan lotion in my Sun Tan Lotions Guide. I always buy a very strong sun tan lotion stick for the parts of my body which are prone to burning, for example, my collar bones, lips, nose, tips of my ears…and even that little bit in between the boobies. I feel like it gives a super concentrated dense dose of suntan lotion. After buying those rather naff looking Boots own sticks I am thrilled to have this snazzy looking posher pot :).
