Tried & Tested | TRIFLE | The Prettiest Vegan Make Up | MEGAN TAYLOR

I am about to introduce you to a make up brand which is completely vegan. Liam said he should have videoed me opening this package of make up goodies, the oohs and aahs were a bit unbelievable, I was like a child in a candy store. Even if you aren’t vegan (I’m vegetarian) I am sure you will appreciate this animal friendly beauty brand, Trifle Cosmetics. To top off their animal friendly culture, they also use recyclable packaging with soy ink. The packaging is probably the cutest I have ever come across and all of the products smell like candy (yes I am American-ing up my lingo for this USA beauty love child). In fact all of the brands products and Instagram account and website look as though a child’s mind exploded and out came Trifle Cosmetics…pure Instagrammable heaven!

Although Trifle are based in the US you can get it delivered to your door outside of the UK with free delivery on orders over $75. I have actually found a few of the products are available on Look Fantastic, including the Cheek Parfait I have reviewed below. Look Fantastic have FREE delivery worldwide!! Carry on reading to find out more about these adorable and most importantly affordable make up products.

LIPS

The pigment in these lip products is insane. The colour as you see on the pinkier crayon and pencil is as you would expect but the darker crayon is a lot redder and far prettier than the picture I have taken. I painted them on my arm to test out the colour and until I scrubbed at them with make up remover, they did not budge. They are the perfect kissable lip stains for the Summer festival season. The scent is so scrummy that your partner won’t want to leave you alone.

CHEEKS

These two cheek products are quite different from each other. The powder palette is perfect for a more blendable application. I love using it by swiping a brush across the three colours. The parfait has a creamier texture as you would expect and is a great product for a lazy make up gal. It isn’t as easy to blend but because of its formulation including shea butter you can easily rub it around your face with your fingers rather than a brush. It can be doubled up as a lip stain as well, making it perfect for travelling.

HIGLIGHTER

I adore a highlighter in the Summer and Christmas months and these highlighters are my new favourite. The scent of the creamy illuminator is my favourite out of all of the products in this Trifle haul. The scent reminds me of the sherbet dips I used to gorge on as a child. The application of this one is really easy, I just dab a bit along my cheek bones and on the cupids bow of my lips and then use my fingers to rub it in. The illumination is perfection. Applying the Atlantis Cookie highlighter with a brush creates a more delicate appearance and much less of a statement, I would say this is a great daytime/everyday highlighter.

Have you tried Trifle before? Do you know of any other lovely vegan beauty brands I should try out and review for you?

of course like your website but you have to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth nevertheless I’ll surely come back again.

Hello! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog. Is it tough to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Cheers
