Quinoa Goddess Balls Recipe

Quinoa Goddess Balls

Last month I bought some Quinoa Pops from Amazon. They are such a wonderful find. You can add them to yoghurt or treat them as a cereal and add to many healthy recipes. I came up with this recipe after playing around with them in the kitchen.
These ‘Quinoa Goddess Balls’ are a wonderful quick boost of energy. At only 50 calories per ball they are a fabulously healthy snack.
They are really quick and easy to make.
Tag me on Instagram and Twitter @itsmegantaylor if you make them.

{You could even make these balls raw. Simply mix the ingredients together. I find the heat from the melting in the pan just makes the whole process a little simpler but definitely not a necessity.}

Time
Prep: 15 minutes
Cooking: 12 minutes

You will need
Rolled oats 1/3 cup
Quinoa pops 3/4 cup
Date syrup 2 tbsp
Ground cinnamon 1.5 tsp
Almond butter 2 tbsp
Water 1 cup
Mixed seeds (your choice-I just use whatever I have in the cupboard) 3/4 cup

Instructions
1. Melt the almond butter, date syrup and cinnamon in a pan on a low heat. Slowly add the water to help mix the ingredients into a paste.
2. Turn off the heat and mix all of the other ingredients into the pan.
3. Roll into little golf ball sized balls and lay on a baking tray.
4. Bake at 160° for 12 minutes
